Community Service Sentencing Programs

Community Service Sentencing provides courts, probation departments, and judicial officials with a viable option of community service as an alternative to fines and incarceration for adults and youth who are convicted of an infraction, misdemeanor, or felony. It enables clients to make restitution to the communities they have wronged, and provides community agencies with much needed volunteer labor. We offer three Community Service Sentencing programs:

  • Court Referred Service is a collaboration with LA Superior Court that matches clients to nonprofit agencies and community needs to enable them to complete their community service sentencing.  Read more.
  • Community Court links offenders to service opportunities to "pay back" their communities and to social services to help them address their behavioral problems Read more.
  • Juvenile Community Service enables juvenile offenders to work with nonprofit and government agencies and instills a sense of responsibility for their actions and an understanding of the consequences of breaking the law Read more.
