Leadership Opportunities
Volunteering can be a great way
to develop leadership skills, strengthen college applications,
boost your resume, enhance your career or simply to put your
gifts to use. Our Project Leader training program will help you
increase your impact as a volunteer and develop your leadership
potential.
Project Leaders are the backbone
of the work we do at VCLA . Each
project in our FLEX Project Calendar is led by a trained Project
Leader, so without
Project Leaders, FLEX would not exist.
Project Leaders do the following:
-
Act as the
primary contact at each project
-
Act as a liaison between Volunteer
Center of Los Angeles and the organization where
the project occurs
-
Respond to volunteer questions about
their project
-
Greet volunteers and sign them in as
they arrive
-
Ensure the project runs smoothly
-
Complete attendance and impact
information after the project
